On behalf of the World Federation and the Global Regulatory Affairs Committee, I am pleased to present to you the Global Government Relations Toolkit, which was designed by WFDSA member companies and adopted by WFDSA. The toolkit includes this handbook (Government Relations Handbook), the Government Relations PowerPoint Presentation and the Global Threat Report. All items are available online, with a periodic hard copy publication of the Handbook. A translation to Spanish of the entire toolkit will be available in the future. The Global Industry Threat Report provides a comprehensive look at the function of government relations and its role in our industry. You will find that the toolkit is a great place to start as you begin to navigate through political and legislative processes; preparing you to advocate for the direct selling industry in a meaningful and compelling way. Part of the WFDSA mission is to build understanding and support for direct selling worldwide.
