WFDSA has a new public-private partnership invitative with APEC SME - On October 9, 2009, WFDSA’s new public-private partnership initiative “Global Solution for Women’s Economic Empowerment” (GSWEE) was endorsed at the APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Ministerial meeting. Ministers recognized that developing micro-enterprises and investing in women will help with the overall economic recovery and reduce poverty and inequalities in the APEC region. The GSWEE initiative is in line with this cutting-edge priority.
