Ethics are the “rules of the road” for our industry, ensuring that we have consistent, legal and professional standards of operations, conduct and compliance across borders, companies, business models and sectors.

Ethics, in addition to our human-centered approach, build trust and credibility in direct selling.  WFDSA is the arbiter of the Global Code of Ethics for direct selling, which serves as a basis for how the industry should work.  Our Code is the gold standard for many governments regulating direct selling, as well as companies, DSAs and distributors.

The Code works as well as all of us cooperating to implement it consistently, faithfully and improving on it continuously.  Our Ethics Committee reviews the Code annually, based on factors including feedback from our stakeholders as well as changes in the regulatory and business landscapes, and all member DSAs are required to be certified in the Code regularly, as well as having dedicated Code Administrators to ensure legal, regulatory and operational rigor.
