DSA of Philippines Update
The Direct Selling Association of the Philippines (DSAP) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Philippines Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to strengthen its partnership and continue its campaign against pyramid schemes. The MOU also aims to promote direct selling as a legitimate source of income through the 800 Negosyo (Business) Centers of DTI nationwide and provide guidance to the community and to the Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who are interested in starting their direct selling businesses.
The MOU was signed by DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez and DSAP Chairman Joey Sarmiento in the presence of DTI Undersecretary Zeny Maglaya, Vice Chairman Arlene Asidao and DSAP Directors Bernie Mercado and Beth Añana
