Ecuadorian Update

DSA in cooperation with the Ministry of Production is producing a series of seminars and workshops focused on promoting direct selling as a channel which generates entrepreneurship during various economic conditions. The above-mentioned events help to spread the information about direct selling opportunities so more people are aware of them and can start their own businesses.

The DSA has also been actively collaborating with the government authorities to position direct selling as the sector in helping to reactivate the country’s economy. In order to achieve this objective, AEVD developed a biosafety protocol specifically for the direct selling industry which was presented to the government. This motivated the government to consider our sector within the first reactivation phase.

DSA coordinated member companies charitable donations to most vulnerable sectors during the current pandemic. Companies donated and delivered tens of thousands of products to entities which are in charge with the countries vulnerable sector.
