Indian DSA Celebrates International Woman’s Day!

Indian DSA celebrated an International Woman’s Day by organizing its first in person event since the
outbreak of the pandemic. The event recognized achievements of women who significantly contributed
to the growth of the industry. The event titled “Aadya – a Celebration of Women Entrepreneurship” was
themed around the Sanskrit word ‘Aadya’ meaning “the beginning”. As part of the event, a panel
discussion was organized on the topic “Women Entrepreneurship – Breaking the Barriers”, where the
panel comprised of women business leaders, wome

n entrepreneurs and senior government officials
exchanged ideas and shared experiences on the various topics such as challenges faced by women
entrepreneurs, steps needed to be taken by the government and industry associations to encourage
more women to start their own businesses, etc.
