All good direct selling personnel carry literature on their companies’ products and should provide proper order forms and receipts. This literature should bear the company’s name, their address and telephone number – which you can use to check on the bona fides of the sales person.
Do not sign any order forms or contracts until you are absolutely sure of the identity of the sales persons and the company they represent.
Do not make any cash payments until you are completely satisfied with the credentials and integrity of the sales person, and that you have been given a proper receipt.
Beware of verbal promises on special prices and terms of delivery. Check that special terms are clearly written in the company’s literature.
Check that the product you are being offered is covered by a guarantee. WFDSA affiliated DSAs’ member companies offer full money back guarantees which are unrivalled. All these checks are welcomed by DSAs’ member companies. They know that the only sure way of building business is by creating confidence in their integrity and in the quality of their products.
